You were shown how to make the PVC part of the project and left to fend for yourself on how to complete the project and make it "useful"; example: the PVC snowshoes. I may have had higher expectation of what insight this book may have provided|About the Author|Tom Forbes, an avid outdoorsman, survival expert, and backyard builder, is a member of the National Guard in South Dakota.
